Delivery InformationStandard deliveryWe use an independent courier company for all of our deliveries. They provide a fast and secure service. Why a delivery charge?We make a one-off delivery charge for each order to a single address. We like to be transparent with this delivery charge, rather than to hide it in the cost of the wine. This allows you to see what the actual cost of the wine is, and what you are paying for delivery. Leaving in a safe placeWhen placing your order you can specify a safe place where the driver can leave your wine in case you are out. This stops you having to wait in to collect it. Split deliveriesWe do try to send your order in one delivery. Occasionally we may be forced to send cases as separate deliveries to you. If for any reason an order does get split and cases are sent to you on separate dates then we will obviously not charge you any extra delivery. Saving on packagingWhere possible we always try to save on packaging. We will often use the original supplier box to send your wine to you in. We also try to use recycled packing material. Don’t worry, we won’t scrimp on packaging at the cost of damaging your wine! BreakagesIn the unlikely event that your wines arrived damaged in any way, please contact us at sales@scarlet-wines.co.uk immediately and we will be happy to arrange a replacement or a complete refund. Where we can't deliver toWe are sorry but we cannot deliver to the Channel Islands, Eire or Mainland Europe. |
