Rich, flavoursome reds but with less tannin and more fruit flavours.  Examples include New World Shiraz, some Rhone and Languedoc reds, Chilean Carmenere, Argentinian Malbec, Spanish Grenache, some Zinfandel and Italian Primitivo.
